Meet the Team

  • GENERAL MANAGEMENT

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, I moved to Atlanta in 2012 having spent over 12 years of my career working in Corporate America driving financial and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for clients such as Barclays, GE Energy, Atlanta Hawks, and LexisNexis.

While in search of purchasing our first home in Metro-Atlanta, it was apparent as first time home buyers, that we were being priced out of the market and we were having no luck finding the type of house we wanted. So Josh and I decided to take action.

Since then, I have taken pride in managing Concrete Roots Group since its inception in 2017 participating as an operations manager and lead designer.

I proudly hold an MBA from Emory University’s Goizeuta Business School and is passionate about her philanthropic work.

What do you enjoy most about working with Concrete Roots?

I like creating homes for people, picking out design elements that clients and buyers won’t find in any other house. Elements that make that house unique and special. Building a house is no small feat but seeing our clients and buyers turn that house into a home makes it all worth it.

  • CONTRACTOR

I am a self-made entrepreneur from Douglasville, GA, right outside Atlanta. I started my first company when I was 19 years old and never looked back. Coming from a large family, I spent most of my childhood working with my hands, trying to find new ways to make money.

My dad owned several rental properties and as he got older, he decided to liquidate his real estate assets but many of them needed renovation. That was my intro into real estate. I flipped 3 houses that year and went on to do 2 more.

I have worked in the trades all my life and honest to God there is no greater feeling than building something with your own two hands.

What do you enjoy most about working with Concrete Roots?

I like being first. I have a very competitive spirit and I like a good challenge. Concrete Roots being the first to be able to maximize on using shipping containers as a viable housing option in Atlanta really motivates me. I also like the idea of creating second chance opportunities for those willing to put in the work to learn a new trade.
